FRE 31000 SEMINAR IN FRENCH LIT & CULTURE

This course examines French literature and culture through select texts and authors belonging to the main cultural periods of French history. Students will be exposed to different genres, including poetry, drama, narrative and the essay, as they are introduced to basic concepts of literary criticism and textual interpretation.
