Adult Education

Ottawa University’s adult education major can prepare you for a career in facilitating, developing and implementing adult programs in various contexts.  The major emphasizes the application of adult learning principles, methods and techniques in planning, administering and evaluating education and training programs for adults.  Professionals who benefit by completing a Bachelor of Arts degree with a major in adult education may include teachers, human resources specialists, organizational development specialists and consultants responsible for the education, training and development of adults in a variety of organizations and institutions.
