PYC 8382 BRIEF THERAPIES

Course covers the clinical processes of select brief therapies (e.g., assessment, treatment planning and techniques); the application of specific brief therapies (e.g., Cognitive-Behavioral, Solution-Focused, Redecision Therapy, Narrative, Hypnosis and Strategic Therapy); and implications for the measurement of success while using brief intermediate therapy throughout the life cycle. Prerequisites: MAPC student with a minimum of 20 hours completed in graduate counseling/psychology course work.
