Minors

Ottawa University offers a variety of minors. These programs allow students to expand their knowledge in a specific area of interest not related to their major.

1. A minor requires a minimum of 6 courses and a minimum of 12 upper division credits.  At least 3 courses in the minor must be taken in residence at Ottawa University.
2. Prerequisites, elective, or required courses in the minor cannot duplicate courses in any other major, minor, or concentration.
3. A minimum grade of C must be earned in all courses in a minor.
4. Courses for a minor may require additional prerequisite courses.

Performance-based minors (Art, Music, Theatre, Forensics) only require a minimum of 9 upper division credits.
