Financial Aid Application Procedures

1. Work with the OU Admissions Office to complete your application for admission and submit all high school and/or college transcripts to be accepted into the University.

2. If applying for federal and state aid, complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) on the web at https://studentaid.gov/. Be sure to list Ottawa University (school code 001937, for all locations) as one of your schools to receive the results. March 15 is the priority deadline to file each year.

3. First time loan applicants should also complete Loan Entrance Counseling and a Master Promissory Note using the links provided in the Financial Aid section of the University website (www.ottawa.edu) or the Federal Student Aid website (www.studentaid.gov)

4. Submit any other missing financial aid documents, as found in the student portal under Financial Information > Financial Aid Checklist > View Financial Aid Document Tracking, to the Department of Financial Aid.
