MUS 11112 JAZZ KEYBOARD/PIANO TECHNIQUES (2)

This course covers the essential fundamentals of Jazz Piano techniques needed of Jazz Music majors whose primary instrument is other than piano.  Students will learn the basics of playing jazz piano at a beginning through intermediate level by studying chord symbols, harmonization, and work on sight-reading.  This course is intended for jazz music majors.
