Ottawa University was established in 1865 and was one of the first to embrace a growing demand for programs specifically tailored to the needs and learning styles of adult students. A pioneer in adult education in the United States, OU opened its first adult campus in Kansas City in 1974. Today, the 28,847 square foot Ottawa University campus is conveniently located in Overland Park, Kansas, and is easily accessible from Kansas City, Missouri, and Kansas City, Kansas.
