MUS 31030 PERCUSSION METHODS AND PEDAGOGY

Course for students seeking Pre-K -12 teacher licensure in instrumental music with a focus on basic performance skills on snare drum and other percussion instruments.  Methods and materials for teaching from begining through advanced students will be examined along with pedagogical approaches to teaching percussion instrument performance.  Prerequisite:  MUS 25325 Music Theory II
