Secondary Education - Music - BA - Arizona

Overview

This program is a partnership between Ottawa University and Glendale and Mesa Community Colleges.  This program prepares students to teach music (choral or instrumental) at the secondary level, as the program is written to meet Arizona teacher certification requirements for grades 7-12. Students can take additional course work to gain an elementary music endorsement.

Degree Requirements

All students must complete the required education, emphasis, and state-specific courses for licensure.  Fingerprint clearance and passing of the appropriate National Evaluation Series (NES) are also required for certification. (See AZ Education and Exit descriptions.)
