PAS 7304 HISTORY & PHYSICAL LAB 4 (2)

The fourth course is a five-part series on the history and physical examination knowledge and skills needed to provide care to patients from all backgrounds in clinical practice. Practice the technical skills learned in the first in the series. Develop clinical skills to conduct comprehensive and focused patient histories and physical examinations while honing patient-centered communication skills through effective history-taking and medical interviewing. Learn to perform detailed physical examinations using medical diagnostic equipment and techniques. Practice with the male and female anatomical task trainers to gain hands-on experience in male (including prostate) and female reproductive examinations. Practice with standardized patients to gain hands-on experience in gathering a sexual history.
