The final course in the five-part series on the comprehensive and focused history and physical examination knowledge and skills needed to provide care to patients from all backgrounds in clinical practice. Practice the technical skills learned in the first in the series. Develop clinical skills to conduct comprehensive and focused patient histories and physical examinations while honing patient-centered communication skills through effective history-taking and medical interviewing. Learn to perform a detailed physical examination using medical diagnostic equipment and techniques. Practice with lab partners and standardized patients to gain hands-on experience in musculoskeletal and neurology examinations.
